I’m Katie Poidomani, UX writer, content writer, editor and owner of Edge Editing and Content.
My job is to make words perform, to tell a story and help you deliver content that informs and converts.
I have over 20 years’ experience as a writer and editor working with government, small business and universities.
I have a BA in English Literature and History, various UX writing, user research and editing certificates, as well a TEFL-TESOL certificate (teaching English to non-English speakers).

I’ve always loved words
My first writing job came at the age of ten when I co-wrote, edited and published my primary school’s first newspaper. I am a certified TEFL–TESOL teacher, having graduated a 150-hour Master course with an A grade. I have taught English to children in China (via Skype) and taught conversational English classes to adults. Along with a Bachelor of Arts (History and English Literature) and Diploma of Publishing (Professional Book Editing, Proofreading and Publishing), I have completed various short courses in:
